Summary |
To seek effects of inflammatory status and 5-aminosalicylic acid (5-ASA, mesalazine) exposure ex vivo on mRNA levels within rectal mucosal biopsies from patients with ulcerative colitis.

A total of 12 biopsies were analysed, 3 biological replicates in each of 4 categories (inflamed with or without 5-ASA, non-inflamed with or without 5-ASA).
