Title |
Does APOBE3G expression affect the gene expression in T cells? |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by array
|
Summary |
APOBEC3G in human CemSS T cells acts antivirally also against negative-strand RNA viruses as found in Vero cells (Fehrholz et al., 2012, J.Gen.Virol. 93, 565-575, DOI 10.1099/vir.0.038919-0). This antiviral activity is not dependent on the deaminase activity of APOBEC3G, but may be mediated by induction of other antiviral mechanisms. Here we screened for antiviral genes induced by APOBEC3G.

Overall design |
CemSS cells with and without APOBEC3G overexpression were compared.
