Summary This study compares the transcriptional response to hypoxia in liver of the hypoxia-tolerant naked mole rat (NMR) and the hypoxia-sensitive rat.
 
Overall design Liver mRNA profiles (Illumina HiSeq 2000) of naked mole rat (NMR) and rat exposed to short-term hypoxia (8% O2, 8 hours). Compared to normoxia samples.
