Title |
Overlap in Signaling through Smoothened and the Heterotrimeric G Protein G13 |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
RNA sequencing is used to compare genes regulated by a constitutively active form of Smoothened, a protein critical to Hedgehog signaling, and a constitutively active form of the alpha subunit of the heterotrimeric G proteins G13, which shares some of the primary actions of Smoothened.

Overall design |
Constitutively active forms of Smoothened and the alpha subunit of G13, and as a control LacZ, were introduced into C3H10T/12 cells by means of recombinant adenoviruses. RNA was isolated 48 h thereafter for sequencing.
