Sample GSM116358 Query DataSets for GSM116358
Status Public on Jun 28, 2006
Title Germfree Paneth cell 2
Sample type RNA

Source name laser capture microdissected Paneth cell from mouse
Organism Mus musculus
Characteristics Strain: NMRI, sex: Male, age: 8 weeks, colonization status: germ-free, Tissue: laser capture microdissected Paneth cell
Biomaterial provider Lora Hooper
Treatment protocol Mice were maintained under germ-free conditions until sacrifice. Small intestines were snap frozen in OCT and sectioned for laser capture microdissection. Paneth cells were isolated from small intestine by laser capture microdissection.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was prepared from captured cells (harvested from 3 mice per group) using the Arcturus PicoPure RNA isolation kit, and was quantitated using the RiboGreen RNA quantitation reagent (Invitrogen).
Label biotin
Label protocol RNAs from three mice were pooled in equal amounts. Duplicate 10 ng RNA aliquots were amplified for each condition using the Arcturus RiboAmp HS kit. Biotinylated cRNAs were generated by substituting the Enzo T7 BioArray Transcript Kit during the last step.

Description Laser capture microdissected Paneth cell from germ-free NMRI mice
Data processing Affymetrix GeneChip software; arrays were scaled to a target intensity of 500
