Sample GSM1322069 Query DataSets for GSM1322069
Status Public on Nov 03, 2014
Title tamoxifen-day 3-1
Sample type RNA

Source name mouse myocardium, left ventricle
Organism Mus musculus
Characteristics strain: C57Bl6/J
gender: male
age: 12-20 weeks
tissue: myocardium, left ventricle
Treatment protocol For intraperitoneal injection, 10mg tamoxifen free base (T5648, Sigma) was dissolved in 1mL peanut oil (Sigma) and then sonicated. 100microL (1.0 mg tamoxifen) was injected daily (40mg/kg/day, i.p.) for 5 days.
Growth protocol All mice were supplied with the same diet and water ad libitum; Mice were maintained on a 12-hour light/dark cycle in a temperature and humidity controlled environment.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was preparted using TRIzol reagent (Invitrogen) from left ventricular myocardial tissue. Total RNA yield and purity (260nm:280nm) were determined spectrophotometrically. The integrity (RIN>9.0) of the re-suspended total RNA was determined using the RNA Nano Chip Kit on the Bioanalyzer 2100 and the 2100 Expert software (Agilent).
Label biotin
Label protocol Biotinylated cRNA were prepared with the Ambion MessageAmp kit for Illumina arrays

Hybridization protocol Standard Illumina hybridization protocol.
Scan protocol Standard Illumina scanning protocol.
Description Tamoxifen x3 days -1
Data processing The data were normalized using quantile normalization with Solo, a simple standalone tood implementing the quantile-quantile normalization method (Univ. of Strasbourg, France)
