Worms were grown on NGM plates spotted with OP50 at 20 oC.

Total RNA was extracted with phenol, cleaned with phenol:chlorophorm:isoamyl alcohol (25:24:1), and then with chlorophorm:isoamyl alcohol (24:1). Total RNA was precipitated overnight at 4 oC with 4M lithium acetate and DNAseI treated before purification on RNEasy minicolumns from Qiagen.
