Sample GSM14917 Query DataSets for GSM14917
Status Public on Jan 14, 2004
Title BJ-TERT dermal fibroblasts
Sample type SAGE
Anchor NlaIII
Tag Count 54613
Tag Length 10

Source name BJ foreskin fibroblast cells immortalized by telomerase overexpression
Organism Homo sapiens
Extracted molecule total RNA

Description BJ neonatal foreskin primary fibroblasts were cultured in Ham's F10 medium supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum, 100 U/ml penicillin, and 100 ug/ml streptomycin. The cells were transduced with TERT cDNA at population doubling PD=63. The population doubling of TERT expressing cells chosen for SAGE library construction was PD=110. The cells were ~80% confluent at the time of RNA isolation.
