Treatment protocol Mice were treated with 0.01μg LPS alone or together with 20mg GalN for 2.5 hours.
Growth protocol 9-10 weeks old male C57 BL/6 mice received the human care under the guidelines on laboratory animals of Nankai University.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was extracted by PureYield™ RNA Midiprep System (Promega). RNA concentration and quality were determined by NanoDrop ND-1000A, and RNA integrity and gDNA contamination were tested by denaturing agarose gel electrophoresis.

Label protocol Labeling was performed by NimbleGen One-Color DNA Labeling Kit following their standard operating protocol. See www.nimblegen.com.
 
Hybridization protocol Hybridization was performed in NimbleGen Hybridization System following their standard operating protocol. See www.nimblegen.com.
Scan protocol Scanning was performed by an Axon GenePix 4000 B scanner (Molecular Devices Corporation) piloted by GenePix Pro 6.0 software (Axon) following their standard operating protocol.
Description This sample is of LPS treated mice. It is the first of three LPS treated biological replicates used in this experiment, each from separate treatments.
Data processing Scanned images (TIFF format) were imported into NimbleScan software (version 2.5) for grid alignment and expression data analysis. Expression data were normalized through quantile normalization and the Robust Multichip Average (RMA) algorithm included in the NimbleScan software. The Probe level (*_norm_RMA.pair) files and Gene level (*_RMA.calls) files were generated after normalization. All gene level files were imported into Agilent GeneSpring Software (version 11.0) for further analysis.
