Treatment protocol HT cells were stably transfected with the wild type MT1-MMP, MT1-MMP siRNA and scrambled siRNA using LipofectAMINE (Invitrogen) to generate HT-MT, HT-siRNA and HTsiRNAscr cells, respectively.
Growth protocol HT and U cells were cultured in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium (DMEM) supplemented with 10% fetal calf serum (DMEM/FCS) and 10 μg/ml gentamicin.
