Ambion WT Expression Kit was used to generate ssDNA targets. Fragmentation and biotin labeling were performed using the Affymetrix WT Terminal Labeling and Hybridization Kit.

The fragmented and labeled targets were hybridized to the arrays per standard Affymetrix protocol in an Affymetrix GeneChip Hybridization Oven 640. The arrays were then washed and stained in an Affymetrix GeneChip Fluidics Station 450.

GeneChips were scanned using the Affymetrix GeneChip Scanner 3000 7G.
