Title |
DMSO treated MDA-MB231 (24 h treatment)_rep2 |
Sample type |
RNA |
Source name |
DMSO treated MDA-MB231 (24 h treatment)_rep2
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Characteristics |
cell line: MDA-MB231 tissue: mammary gland/breast cell type: epithelial disease: adenocarcinoma/derived from metastatic site
Treatment protocol |
Cells were treated 100μM of SFX for 24 hours under serum-free condition.
Growth protocol |
SKMEL28 cells were grown under following condition: Eagle's Minimum Essential Medium (EMEM) with 10 % fetal bovine serum (FBS) and 1% antibiotic and antimycotic agent. MDA-MB231 cells were grown under following condition: Dulbecco Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM) with 10 % fetal bovine serum (FBS) and 1% antibiotic and antimycotic agent.
Extracted molecule |
total RNA |
Extraction protocol |
Trizol extraction of total RNA was performed according to the manufacturer's instruction
Label |
biotin
Label protocol |
The sense cDNA was fragmented and biotin-labeled with TdT (terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase) using the GeneChip WT Terminal labeling kit
Hybridization protocol |
5.5μg of labeled DNA target was hybridized to the Affmetrix GeneChip Clariom S Human Array at 45 °C for 16hours. Hybridized arrays were washed and stained on a GeneChip Fluidics Station 450
Scan protocol |
Hybridized arrays were scanned on a GCS3000 Scanner (Affymetrix)
Description |
Gene expression data from DMSO (vehicle)-treated MDA-MB231
Data processing |
The data were summarized and normalized with robust multi-average (RMA) method implemented in Affymetrix Power Tools (APT).
