Treatment protocol |
Rats in acupuncture group were acupunctured at GV20 (Baihui) and GV29 (Yintang) from PND61 to PND81 every other day under anesthetized, including Control, MS.

Growth protocol |
From PND1 to PND21, the maternal separation that kept the mothers from their filial generation of MS group into another cage for four hours (9:00-13:00) was conducted every day. While the mothers and litters in control group were under no disturbance until weaning. All pups were weaned at PND 21 and the males were housed by four or five per cage until adult age, and the females were eliminated.

Extraction protocol |
Total RNA was extracted from cell or animal tissue by Trizol reagent (Invitrogen) separately. The RNA quality was checked by Bioanalyzer 2200 (Aligent) and kept at -80℃.The RNA with RIN >8.0 is right for cDNA library construction. RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using standard Illumina protocols
