Sample GSM357471 Query DataSets for GSM357471
Status Public on May 27, 2009
Title Testis_C102
Sample type RNA

Source name control mouse testis
Organism Mus musculus
Characteristics Male specific pathogen free C57BL/6J
Biomaterial provider CLEA Japan, Inc.
Treatment protocol Irradiation with 137Cs γ-rays was carried out in a facility at the Institute for Environmental Sciences for 485 days (22 h/day) at dose-rates of 0.032 μGy/min, 0.65 μGy/min, and 13 μGy/min. The total dose after irradiation at these dose-rates was 21 mGy, 420 mGy, and 8000 mGy. We examined 12 mice (3 per each dose-rate condition, including the control). Mice were euthanized immediately after the termination of irradiation, and the kidney and testis were removed and stored at -80°C in RNAlater (Ambion).
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol RNAlater and RNeasy Mini Kit and RNase-Free DNase Set (Qiagen, Valencia, CA)
Label biotin
Label protocol Illumina RNA Amplification Kit (Label with biotin-UTP directly)

Hybridization protocol Illumina Gene Expression system Hyb E1 and Block Buffer kit,
Wash E1BC Buffer kit and High Temp Wash Buffer kit
Scan protocol Standard of BeadStation 500GX-WG system (Illumina)
