Description Test
Data processing Qiagen’s Data Analysis software was used to analyze results and construct a heatmap. Lysates were collected from 5 treated lungs (4 lungs for p16 KO room air group) and were averaged. All genes are normalized to 5 housekeeping genes within the array
For the normalization it uses the average of five housekeeping genes: B2M, HPRT1 , RPL13A, GAPDH, ACTB. Values from the different treated lungs were averaged within
Target gene signals normalized to housekeeping genes; 2^-deltaCt, where deltaCt = (Ct_Target − Ct_HKG)]
The web-based software package automatically performs all deltadeltaCt based fold-change calculations from the uploaded raw threshold cycle data.
Fold Change worksheet reports test/control (i.e.,Room air wt/ experimental CS) ratios.
