Fibres containing LNCaP cells were removed from mouse 15N at the castration-recurrent stage of hormonal progression of prostate cancer. Samples were retrieved 72 days following surgical castration of the mouse.

Total RNA was isolated immediately from cells harvested from the in vivo Hollow Fibre model using TRIZOL Reagent following the manufacturer’s instructions. Genomic DNA was removed from RNA samples with DNaseI.
