Growth protocol |
G1E-ER-GATA-1 cells (Gregory et al., 1999; Johnson et al., 2002) were maintained in Iscove’s Modified Dulbecco’s Medium (IMDM) (GIBCO) supplemented with 15% FBS (Gemini), 1% penicillin-streptomycin (GIBCO), 2 u/ml erythropoietin, 120 nM monothioglycerol (MTG) (Sigma), 0.6% conditioned medium from a Kit-ligand-producing Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell line and 1 µg/ml puromycin (Sigma).
