Sample GSM471361 Query DataSets for GSM471361
Status Public on Feb 15, 2010
Title MEF_WT_2
Sample type RNA

Source name MEFs primary line from wiltype mice collected 24 hours after plating
Organism Mus musculus
Characteristics genotype: WT
tissue: MEFs
Treatment protocol Mice were kept with access to food and water ad libitum with cycles of light and dark of 12 hours. Sacrifice of the animals and harvest of the tissues happened 24 hours after food withdrawal for the liver and 11 hours after food withdrawal for the adipose tissue. Tissues were cleaned from blood with cold PBS and rapidly frozen in liquid nitrogen. Then, we extracted RNA following RNAeasy RNA kit purification instructions. Once purified, total RNA was store at -80 until its analysis by microarray.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Quiagen RNAeasy purification kit.
Label Biotin
Label protocol For labeling we followed Illumina TotalPrep RNA Amplification Kit

Hybridization protocol Illumina manufacturer's instructions
Scan protocol Illumina manufacturer's instructions
Description n/a
Data processing data was extracted with Bead Studio, then it was imported in R and read with the Lumi package, RMA-like background corrected with the affy package, quantile normalized with the Lumi package and then analysed with LIMMA. All these packages are part of Bioconductor.
