To extract the RNAs, retinas isolated from normal P12 mice, P12 and P12.5 hyperoxic/hypoxic exposed mice were homogenized with a Polytron homogenizer in extraction reagent, extracted with chloroform, and the aqueous phase was precipitated in isopropanol.
