Extraction protocol RNeasy Mini (Qiagen) extraction of total RNA was performed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Label biotin
Label protocol Biotinylated cDNA were prepared according to the standard Nugen WT Ovation Pico Kit protocol with Exon Module Kit, from 50 nanograms total RNA
 
Hybridization protocol Following fragmentation, 5.75 micrograms of cDNA were hybridized for 16 hr at 45C on Rat ST Gene Array. GeneChips were washed and stained in the Affymetrix Fluidics Station 450.
Scan protocol GeneChips were scanned using the Affymetrix 7G/4C scanner.
Description propriospinal neuron gene expression data at different time points following spinal cord transection or sham. Additional details in published paper.
Data processing The data were imported into GeneSpring GX (Agilent) and RMA normalized.
