Description Primary mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs) were generated from e14.5 embryos bearing one conditional knockout allele of p300 and were infected at passage 3 with Cre Adenovirus and grown until they had expanded at least 100 fold. Subconfluent MEFs were treated under normoxia with 5% carbon dioxide at 37 C in a humid chamber with EtOH vehicle, then with 100um dipyridyl (DP) after 30min. 3 hrs later, cells were lysed in Trizol for RNA extraction.
