Treatment protocol |
hVSEL were FACS sorted (BD Vantage SE) from lineage-depleted (MACS) total nucleated human umbilical cord blood cells after NH4Cl lysis. Two populations of hVSEL cells were sorted: Lin-CD45-CXCR4+CD34- and Lin-CD45-CXCR4+CD34+. Dead cells and non-nucleated cells were excluded through Hoechst 33342 and propidium iodid staining.
