Description
Total RNA was prepared from the pooled microvessels and from the minced brain sample using RNAwiz. The quantity and quality of the RNA was assessed by UV absorption spectrophotometry and by use of a RNA chip assay (RNA 6000 nanochip with Bioanalyzer, Agilent, Palo Alto, CA).
