Cloning and Expression

Using SEREX (serologic analysis of recombinant cDNA expression libraries) to identify fibrosarcoma antigens recognized by NY-ESO-1 (CTAG1B; 300156)-positive fibrosarcoma patient serum, Lee et al. (2003) cloned CCDC73, which they designated NY-SAR-79, from a normal testis cDNA expression library.


Mapping

By genomic sequence analysis, Taylor et al. (2006) mapped the CCDC73 gene, which they called LOC493860, to chromosome 11p13.
