Analysis Name: PAGE Tier-1 Association Analyses of Binary Traits in Causal Variants Across the Life Course (CALiCo): Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities (ARIC)
Analysis Accession: pha003543.1
- Analysis Description
- The Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities (ARIC) Study is a longitudinal study to examine cardiovascular health risks in subjects (n=15729, age range 45-64), baseline was taken in 1987-1989. Genotyping was performed at the University of Texas Health Science Center using the ABI TaqMan platform.
- Analysis Methods
- Phenotypes were tested for association using logistic regression under an additive genetic model coding. The test statistic presented here is the Wald statistic given by the ratio of the log odds ratio to its standard error. Results that should be carefully evaluated are noted as outliers, with the following outlier codes: B: abs(log odds ratio) > 1.10 ; C: HWE p-value < 0.001.
