Summary:
Analysis of ductus arteriosus (DA) from normoxic and hyperoxic fetuses, and normoxic newborns. Aorta from normoxic fetuses and newborns also examined. Results provide insight into the role of oxygen and the birth process on the initial functional and subsequent permanent closure of DA.
