Summary: Analysis of skeletal muscles of transgenics (trs) overexpressing PPARalpha. Trs overexpressing PPARalpha develop glucose intolerance despite protection from diet-induced obesity. Results provide insight into the role of PPARalpha in the development of insulin-resistant diabetes.
Organism: Mus musculus
