Summary: Analysis of corpus lutea (CLs) of animals treated with prostaglandin F2alpha (PGF2alpha). The CL is a transient endocrine gland that produces progesterone, a hormone needed to maintain pregnancy. Results provide insight into the mechanisms underlying the regression of CL mediated by PGF2alpha.
