Analysis of gingival epithelial HIGK cells infected with Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans or Porphyromonas gingivalis. A. actinomycetemcomitans and P. gingivalis cause periodontal infections. Results provide insight into differences in epithelial cell responses to these pathogens.
