Summary: Analysis of synchronous and metachronous liver metastatic lesions from colorectal cancer (CC). The liver is a common site of metastases from CC. Synchronous metastatic lesions arise less than 6 months after the resection of the primary tumor, metachronous lesions arise 6 months after resection.
