Summary: Analysis of kidney cortices from HIV-1 transgenic, FVB/N males and females (Tg26). Tg26 models the renal pathologic changes observed in human disease and is used to study HIV-associated nephropathy (HIVAN) pathogenesis. Results provide insight into the molecular mechanisms underlying HIVAN.
