Summary: Analysis of hippocampal CA1 from adrenalectomized F344 males maintained for 3 months with implanted corticosterone (CORT) pellets to produce low or intermediate (glucocorticoid receptor-activating) blood levels of CORT. Results provide insight into the effects of chronic CORT on the hippocampus.
