show Abstracthide AbstractBacteriophages of Acinetobacter baumannii have been isolated from sewage water in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. vB_AbaM_B09_Aci01-1, vB_AbaM_B09_Aci02-2 and vB_AbaM_B09_Aci05 belong to the Saclayvirus genus of the Myoviridae family of phages with double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) genomes of respectively 103,628 bp, 104,354bp and 102,789bp. vB_AbaP_B09_Aci07 and vB_AbaP_B09_Aci08 belong to the Fri1virus genus of the Podoviridae family of phages and have dsDNA genomes of respectively 42,330bp and 42,067bp. Aci01-2-Phanie is a novel Acinetobacter baumannii phage recovered from waste-water in Adjamé, Frat mat, Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire). It possesses a 12kb DNA genome and long inverted terminal repeats, and necessitates a helper phage such as Aci01-1 for its multiplication.
