SRX6723053: 16S rRNA-seq of fecal from the rat
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina MiSeq) run: 125,784 spots, 31.5M bases, 15.3Mb downloads

Design: We extracted microbial DNA from fecal sample , and we performed PCR reaction to amplify the V3 and V4 region of 16s rDNA
Submitted by: The Second Xiangya Hospital, Central South University
Study: We established morphine-induced conditioned place preference (CPP) rat models, and adopted 16s rRNA sequencing of fecal bacterial communities. Raw sequence reads

Our goal is twofold. First, we established morphine-induced conditioned place preference (CPP) rat models, and adopted 16s rRNA sequencing of fecal bacterial communities before and after drug exposure, with an attempt to describe the impact of morphine on the alterations in gut microbiota. Second, given that the CPP scores reflects the sensitivity to rewarding values of the drug, we compared the gut microbiota of rats with different CPP scores and explored correlation between microbial alterations and the sensitivity to morphine reward.
