The study objectives were to analyze the gut fungal microbiome within the two different Anopheline mosquito species, including An. subpictus and An. vagus, which were the most abundant species collected from the Ponniyar river bed in Krishnagiri district, Tamil Nadu, India. ITS regions were utilized as target for high-throughput sequencing to analyze fungal community .
