Design: Each sample comprised mRNA extracted from whole brains of one adult male. A separate sequencing library was prepared for each sample, using unique index sequences from the Illumina Tru-Seq RNA kit following manufacturers instructions. Sequencing libraries were constructed and sequenced on three lanes of an Illumina HiSeq 2000 at the HudsonAlpha Genomic Services Laboratory (Huntsville, Alabama) in April 2012.
