SRX204961: Genomic resequencing of Heliconius timareta
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2000) run: 59.6M spots, 11.9G bases, 7.4Gb downloads

Submitted by: STRI/NCSU
Study: Heliconius timareta strain:Peru Genome sequencing
show Abstracthide Abstract
The wing color patterns of Heliconius butterflies show extraordinary divergence within species and striking convergence between species. We use whole genome resequencing of individuals from hybrid zones across Central and South America to investigate the genetic basis and evolutionary history of adaptive wing color pattern variation.
Sample: Generic sample from Heliconius timareta spp. n. MAS-2012
