In this project we collected tissues (brain and skin) from 24 zebra finches 24 hours after the LPS administration. The RNA sequencing was done using different next generation sequencing (NGS) approaches: mRNA-seq and QuantSeq. We aimed to explore reliability of these approaches in differential gene expression estimates and describe skin and brain gene expression changes during peripheral inflammation.
