Study: Mycovirus identification from Aspergillus section Versicolores
show Abstracthide Abstract
Fragmented and primer-Ligated DsRNA Sequencing (FLDS) technology is a promising method for identification of complete RNA viral genomes. In the present study, we adopted FLDS technology for the comprehensive screening of mycovirus. In this study, we explored viruses from deep sea-derived fungal strains as untapped resource with a focus on Aspergillus section Versicolores. Purified dsRNAs from the samples were specifically converted into dsDNA, and resultant dsDNAs were sequenced by the Illumina MiSeq platform.
Sample: Aspergillus tennesseensis 1383-1-1
