Design: Total RNA from ectodermal explants of B. lanceolatum were extracted using the Rneasy Plus Micro Kit (QIAGEN). Purified RNA quantity and quality was assessed using a Bioanalyzer (Agilent Technologies, USA). Library construction was performed using NEBNext ultraII directionnal RNA library prep kit (New England Biolabs) and single-end sequencing was performed using NextSeq550 (Illumina).
