Study: Transcription analysis of recombinant Trichoderma_reesei strains reveals the molecular basis for fermentation of glucose and xylose
show Abstracthide Abstract
In this study, the recombinant Trichoderma reesei strain HJ48 was employed to investigate the differences between anaerobic fermentation of xylose and glucose, through genome-wide transcription analysis. Analysis of the genes induced under fermentation condition has revealed novel features in T. reesei. Our results how that many genes related to ribosome were expressed more highly with xylose than with glucose in HJ48. Overall design: mRNA profiles of 4-day old of Trichoderma_reesei under fermentation of glucose and xylose condition were generated by deep sequencing, in triplicate, using Illumina HiSeq 2500.
Sample: Glucose 3
