Study: RNA-sequencing analysis of aberrantly expressed long non-coding RNAs and mRNAs in a mouse model of ventilator-induced lung injury
show Abstracthide Abstract
Long non-coding RNAs are closely associated with the regulation of various biological processes and are involved in the pathogenesis of numerous diseases. However, the role of lncRNAs in ventilator-induced lung injury (VILI) has yet to be evaluated. This study aims to evaluate the expression profile and role of lncRNAs and mRNAs in VILI. Overall design: In the present study, high-throughput sequencing was applied to investigate differentially expressed lncRNAs and mRNAs (fold change >2; false discovery rate <0.05). Bioinformatics analysis was employed to predict the functions of differentially expressed lncRNAs.
Sample: CON rep1

Organism: Mus musculus
Library:
Instrument: Ion Torrent Proton
Strategy: RNA-Seq
Source: TRANSCRIPTOMIC
Selection: cDNA
Layout: SINGLE
Construction protocol: Total RNA was extracted from cell or animal tissue by Trizol reagent (Invitrogen) separately. The RNA quality was checked by Bioanalyzer 2200 (Aligent) and kept at -80℃.The RNA with RIN >8.0 is right for cDNA library construction. Ion Proton Sequencing Protocol
