Study: Identification of quasispecies in JC virus genome in patients with progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy by deep sequencing
show Abstracthide Abstract
JC virus (JCV) is a DNA virus and a causative agent of progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML) in immunodeficient patients. In the present study, we identified quasispecies in JCV genome in the 6 clinical samples of PML by a next generation sequencer. Sequence data of JCV DNA analyzed by NGS in this study were deposited.
