We report mRNA profiles of human breast cancer cell lines, SUM159 and SUM149,which are modulated fatty acid beta oxidation (FAO) pathway either pharmacologically using Etomoxir (ETX) or genetically (shRNA). The optimized data analysis workflows reported here should provide a framework for comparative investigations of expression profiles.
