show Abstracthide AbstractAvian Pathogenic Escherichia coli (APEC) is associated with colibacillosis which accounts for mortality and morbidity in poultry industry. However, up to now there has been no clear characteristics of pathogenicity and virulence genes of these bacteria. The aim of this work is to define virulence-associated factors which would be used in genotyping of APEC strains.Six environmental APEC strains, designated as 007PP2015, 009PP2015, 011PP2015, 012PP2015, 015PP2015, 016PP2015 were isolated from sick domestic birds in Poland. Their draft genome sequences are presented.
