GFF-CIGAR export for alignments
Step 1: Introduction
This tutorial demonstrates how to perform GFF-CIGAR expport for alignments
In order to get the full benefits of this tutorial you will need to download the sample data file.
It is also recommended to complete Basic Operation tutorial first.
Step 2: Open sample data file
Copy the sample data file from ftp location to you local drive and open it in Genome Workbench.
Step 3: Open Export dialog
Right-click alignment in the Project view and select the Export command.
Export dialog will be displayed.
Step 4: Export file
Select "GFF3 File" in the left pane. You should be able to see and select the alignment in the right pane.
Click on the folder icon next to the File name textbox. Browse to the desired location, type in the name of the file, and click Save.
Select the alignment and click on the folder icon next to the File name text box. Browse to the desired location, type in the name of the file, and click Save.
Click Finish. Export file will be created.
