Summary We applied single-cell transcriptomics to identify cellular and molecular heterogeneity in distinct heart cell populations in myocardial infarction versus sham surgery mice.
 
Overall design Myocardial infarction of wild-type mice was performed to identify discrete cell populations within the injured heart by scRNA-Seq (DropSeq).
