Title |
Therapeutic efficacy of antimalarial drugs targeting DosRS signaling in Mycobacterium abscessus |
Organism |
Mycobacteroides abscessus ATCC 19977 |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Regulation of M. abscessus gene expression in WT or dosR mutant and treated with artemisinin
|
|
|
Overall design |
WT or DosR deletion mutant were cultured in 16 mL of Dubos browth +10% ADS and 0.05% Tween 80 starting at an OD of 0.05 in a T-25 flask (in horizontal position). The cultures were treated with 20 uM artemisinin or a DMSO control for 24 hours, RNA was extracted, llibraries generated, sequenced and differential gene expression analyzed.
