Kidney samples were cut into 6-20 mm sections, fixed in formalin for 16-24hrs, embedded in paraffin, and serial sections cut at 5um. Sections were manually placed on 10x Visum v.10 slides and processed per 10x Visium FFPE Protocols to bind and amplify transcriptome probe panels and generate libraries from mRNA. Data from Healthy cortex was compared to Chronic Kidney disease (CKD) or Acute Kidney disease (AKI)
