Data processing |
Using the the R/Bioconductor system data were normalized and summarized using the affy and gcRMA packages. One array was dropped as an outlier. A known batch effect was removed by subtracting the average batch deviation from the mean on an individual probe basis. An empirical low expression cutoff of 5 units was used to remove noise from the data used here, leaving 16204 of the original 31099 probe sets in the analysis.
